StillMarillion are the definitive tribute to Fish era Marillion. Formed in 2008 from a love of the early Marillion material which is seldom performed by Marillion or Fish these days, they set out to capture the atmosphere of those Eighties gigs, when the band was fronted by the charismatic Scottish vocalist. StillMarillion shows are more a homage than a gimmicky tribute, as the band give precedence to music and performance, rather than painted faces and elaborate costume changes.
StillMarillion have been actively touring all over the UK over the last decade or so years, playing to increasingly sold out venues. Over the last few years they have also begun to venture further afield, playing extremely successful shows in Germany and Holland. Consequently, the band is now widely considered to be the premier option for live performances of Fish era Marillion.
Featuring all the hit singles such as Kayleigh, Lavender and Sugar Mice, StillMarillion also regularly showcase classic album tracks and B sides in their live sets ensuring even the most ardent fans are kept happy. A formidable live band in their own right, whether you are the biggest Marillion fan or a more casual observer, their musicianship and live performance never fails to impress.

THE SHUDDERS
With energy, driving rhythm and heart felt melodies The Shudders combine their melee of music influence to produce a refreshing brand of indie-country-rock. Vocal harmonies, screaming guitar, warm acoustic and a commanding rhythm section with which to weave their rich tapestry of noise. It’s a tapestry which could be a described as a ‘Crazy Horse – Bright Eyes – Wilco’ for those weaving enthusiasts out there.

KOTONIC
Formed in 2019, Kotonic are a three-piece Alt-rock band, consisting of Lloyd on drums, Ed on bass and Adam on guitar. Not only do they write their own hard-hitting songs with purposeful lyrics, their USP is having two very strong vocalists, amplifying their musical breadth.
With influences from Billy Talent to Manic Street Preachers, they have broad appeal and ensure that their audience enjoys the gig as much as they enjoy performing.
Kotonic didn’t let lockdown stop them and remained active throughout 2020 by posting live videos, recorded in their own homes, and writing lots of new material. In 2021 they headlined multiple gigs and headed straight for the studio to record their debut EP, Dogs.

“The combination of the layered vocals and instrumental textures, along with a tune that feels immediately familiar, is that ‘UNarmed American’ becomes anthemic.” – Americana U.K.
“San Francisco singer/songwriter Mickelson brings us something that is both reassuringly familiar and yet wholly unique.” – At The Barrier (UK)
“Substance will always win over style at Maverick and US act Scott Mickelson possesses both. He was referred to by anecdote as a cross between Michael McDermott and Billy Joel. Interesting comparison that gains traction for an artist happy to drop the first name.” – ThreeChordsAndTheTruth (UK)
“Mickelson unveils his most politically charged work to date with Drowning In An Inflatable Pool. It’s an album rooted in a collective frustration about the mismanagement of our country by this current White House administration.” – American Songwriter
“this music is the balance between strong, subtle, unexpected, and sophisticated.” – Paste Magazine
“Drowning in an Inflatable Pool combines an anxious energy with alluring melodies to create a remarkable musical experience”. – Twangville
“I call it anthemic when a band or chorus hits all the notes just right and the sound becomes bigger than it should be and Mickelson hits it often enough on this album to make it worthy of the highest of recommendations.” – No Depression
“It’s American folk-Rock with a post punk edge, rustic but scarred.” – Alternative Press Magazine
“Flickering, a buoyant composition showcasing that Mickelson offers undeniable musical charm and instrumental dexterity.” – Glide Magazine
